Referees at the Handball Days Lübeck 2023
The Handball Days are the second largest handball tournament in the world. In addition to a large number of coaches and players, referees are of course also an important part of the tournament. Referees from many countries have been visiting us for many years.
Also this year we would like to make it possible for referees from all over the world to be part of the Handball Days.
Please note that we cannot accept all applications. Thank you for your understanding.
Information for referees:
- Free accommodation in nearby classrooms
- Free catering during the tournament days

Unfortunately, we are generally unable to provide travel expenses.
Prerequisite for participation is the possession of a valid referee's license in the area of the IHF, the DHB or a subordinate association or district (e.g. a district handball association). Referee licenses from other countries are also accepted.
Unfortunately, the referee registration is closed for this year. But we would be very happy if you try again next year.
Note for non-EU referees:
If a VISA is required for participation, we will be happy to provide you with an official letter of invitation with your data.

Highlights Handball-Days
Like in the past years a Nations Cup of Youth-A National Teams will be played in parallel to the "Luebecker Handballtage" Tournament (plus Füchse Berlin, runner-up).
The Handball-Days are a great spectacle : more than 5000 Teenagers from 380 Teams and 12 different Nations play to win at the second largest Handball Tournament of the world.
In our Fun Area close to the Stadion all age groups will find many things of variety during free periods.
